Help Your Child Be Successful!
Attendance:
The student is responsible for doing/making up/finishing work that was missed during the absence.
Behavior:
I am very proactive and do a lot of positive reinforcement. However, if a child is having a difficult day in terms of behavior (ex. not following our class constitution/school rules, using loud voices instead of indoor voice, horse-playing, not keeping hands and feet to self), not working to full potential (ex. not starting or completing work assignments because of lack of focus, excessive talking that disrupts their and classmates’ work time, etc.) then:

Grades:
Grades are an integral part of any instructional program. At Brockton Avenue Elementary School, grades are intended to give as accurate a picture as possible of how a student performs academically in work, study, and social areas. Before report cards, parents will receive a note from me informing you of how your child is doing. At this point it would be a good idea to schedule a parent-student-teacher conference if needed.
