Parent/Teacher Conferences:
I believe that the relationship between the school and the home is very important, and my goal is to keep the lines of communication open. To promote this, parent-student-teacher conferences for SRLDP students will be scheduled twice a year, in December and in March. Special Education students will have scheduled IEP during the school year. Please feel free to contact me anytime if you would like to speak about something urgently by leaving a message in the office.
Parent Donations:
We are always in need of supplies. Please stop by and find out if there are any needs we may have or click on wish list icon.
Parent Volunteers:
This is a requirement for SRLDP/PCC parents not to inconvenience parents but is based on the principle that parents are the primary teachers of their children. I provide opportunities for parents to be involved. You may be a room parent, coordinate activities, assist with classroom needs, take-work home, etc. Each volunteer (if volunteering in the classroom) needs to fill out a volunteer application, turn in to the main office and have a current TB test on file in the front office (see office).
Birthday and Classroom Celebrations:
You may arrange to bring cupcakes for your child’s birthday but I ask that you keep it simple so that regular classroom time is not disturbed. Birthday celebrations can be arranged for the last 15 minutes of the class day and must be scheduled prior to the student's birthday.
